Radiant Orchid Color Inspiration

Pantone's 2014 Color of the Year - Radiant Orchid - is a vibrant, modern and gorgeous choice for your wedding.

Each year Pantone selects what they deem as the "it" color. For 2014 the arbiters of color chose the bold and bright Radiant Orchid. Past color choices have been equally eye-catching - Tangerine Tango, Emerald, Mimosa and Blue Turquoise, just to name a few. The Colors of the Year are a great source for inspiration. Here are a few ways you can incorporate this year's vibrant purple.

A bouquet of orchids is an obvious choice or incorporate just a few orchids into a bouquet. Right bouquet by Rachael A. Clingen via Weddings Illustrated. You can even skip orchids entirely. Many flowers come in shades of purple including these delicate tulips.

There are so many opportunities to incorporate a color: Go bold with makeup and nail color choices with Sephora's Pantone Radiant Orchid collection; bright, colorful shoes add a fun pop of color; modern wedding favor tags from design cirucs; tasty and elegant macarons come in any shade you can dream of.
