Lindsay Bello & Tim Martin
June 14, 2008 Rockywold-Deephaven Camps, Holderness
Tim and I met during our freshman year at Georgetown University through mutual friends. At that point, neither of us would have thought that we would date each other, let alone get married. The next year, we happened to move into a dorm as neighbors and became close friends. It wasn't until the very end of our junior year that we began to date. After seven years — including long-distance stints for jobs in Texas, business school for me, law school for Tim and studying in India and a lot of perserverance — we decided to tie the knot. Tim asked me to marry him on a morning run in Washington, in the mud, at our favorite park. He totally surprised me!
