The Story
Dave and I met two years prior to our wedding in Wiscasset, Maine. At the time I was living in Boston and headed up to visit friends in Maine for the weekend. They had made previous arrangements to go to a farewell barbecue at Dave’s house, as he was leaving for Italy for three months. I instantly knew that he was a very kind and considerate gentleman and proceeded to wonder about him while he was away. Once he returned, we met up again. After a year of three-hour weekend drives, I moved to Maine and we were engaged shortly thereafter.
