Jenkins and I met playing softball many summers ago and instantly became friends. He dated other people and I dated other people and all the while his sister kept telling us that we would be perfect for each other. The summer of 2007 we were both out of town and when we got back to Breckenridge there was an instant spark. We were at a restaurant and I asked him if I could kiss him. He was shy and said that he didn’t want to ruin our friendship, but the next day he agreed that we could give us a chance and we were married two years later.
