Shane and I met at the beginning of the summer in 2006. We are both from the same town where we grew up and lived, however he was four years older so we had never been formally introduced, but recognized each other. We were at a restaurant in our hometown where a mutual friend introduced us. Shane offered to drive me home that night and the rest is history. We have been together ever since.
