Tim and I both attended Boston University and lived on campus. We had some friends in common, but it took nearly five years for us to meet each other! During the summer of 2005, we were both Resident Assistants (RAs) and one night a dormitory caught on fire. Tim, who just happened to be walking past the building and saw the fire, ran into the RA office, where I was on duty. Tim stayed with me the entire night and well into the next day, helping me relocate a large number of students, secure the building and work with police, fire and school administration. We enjoyed working together and, from that day onward, we were inseparable.
