Our lifetime together began in July 2008 on a beautiful summer night overlooking Boston Harbor. We were introduced by mutual friends at a seaport roof-deck party overlooking the John Mellencamp concert happening at the Pavillion below. The perfect pink sunset and live performance of "Jack and Diane" were all it took for us to hit it off. Zachary left just two weeks later to attend the University of Buffalo Medical School, but we never let miles or med school come between us and we were engaged the following year. We now live in Buffalo, N.Y., as a blissfully wedded pair.
