Mike and I met five years ago at a pub in Somerville. We were both out with friends listening to Irish music. I guess you can meet a nice guy in a bar! We dated about three and a half years before he proposed on Christmas morning. Mike's family has a cottage in Gilford and we would take boat trips from there to Meredith where we'd see couples being married outside at Church Landing. I loved the beautiful simplicity of the interior and grounds of Church Landing, so when the time came to choose a venue it was an easy decision! The entire wedding weekend was a celebration. We spent New Year's Eve with family and friends watching the fireworks and dancing to live music. Everyone was excited to see each other again and celebrate the next evening for the wedding!
