Make a big statement with smaller floral designs

"I'm a fan of small arrangements," says Emily Herzig, owner/designer of Emily Herzig Floral Studio (ehfloral.com). They're especially good, she adds, if the budget doesn't allow for the full flower design.

Emily has a collection of antique apothecary bottles that she uses for small arrangements. Other fun containers she suggests – tea cups, fruit picking containers, canning jars, martini glasses, gift shop birds' nests and coffee cans wrapped in ribbon, fabric or lace. Another idea – bud vases in mixed colors with just a single stem.
