Tuscan-Style Wedding Inspiration and Ideas
Experience Italy right here in New Hampshire at Fulchino Vineyard
Tuscan beauty comes to New Hampshire at Fulchino Vineyard bringing the sweet life — dolce vita. It comes with an unexpected color palette — fresh farm-picked tangerine, juicy raspberry pinks, creamy ivory and green as intense as the depths of the Ligurian Sea.
Continue on for gorgeous flowers, a romantic ceremony setting, a wedding feast catered by Tuscan Market Catering and Tuscan Kitchen, dream gowns, men's fashion, a Vespa scooter exit for the bride and groom and much more.
DaVinci flower-adorned globes anchor the couple as they exchange their vows and their first kiss in the vineyard. The hand-tied bridal bouquet of garden roses, roses, spray roses, hyacinth, anemones and clementine fruit is a bold splash of spring color, perfect for the bride who wants to make a statement but prefers a rounded, compact bouquet silhouette.
On to Cocktails and the Reception
In a setting that evokes the lush Italian countryside, the couple shares a quiet moment, their signature drink in hand. The sign on the wine crate drink station says “Divertiti” — Enjoy. And making that easy, the tang of their drink, Pellegrino Aranciata Rosa made with Absolut Citron vodka, lemon squeeze and raspberry garnish.
Her: Designer Ian Stuart captures the essence of all things magical with this gown layered with satin and sequins. The soft tulle is embellished with embroidered dragonflies. Offered exclusively at Uniquely Couture Bridal in Bedford. Him: The ivory dinner jacket is back, re-creating the sophisticated James Bond-ish look. On page 49, the groom wears gray, the “new black” in menswear, by Savvi Black Label.
Top left: The gold/off-white combination along with embroidered floral motifs bring drama to this gown by Pronovias. The illusion neckline is a new trend seen in most showrooms. Available at Uniquely Couture Bridal. Top right: This mermaid gown by Pronovias has a sweetheart neckline adorned with delicate white feathers. The bodice features tulle with floral lace that embraces the silhouette down to the hips. The waterfall skirt completes the design. Available at Uniquely Couture Bridal. Bottom: Created by international award-winning designer Ian Stuart, this luxurious gown has a mermaid silhouette that molds the body to the knee where an explosion of flowers, tulle and petals cascade into a rambling train. Offered exclusively at Uniquely Couture Bridal. Him: An Allure for Men collection “crossover” tuxedo, a hot trend for today’s couples. It offers style and fit, but there’s no satin on the jacket lapel and no stripe on the pant legs. Offered in black, heather, gray, steel gray and tan as shown in the photo.
A Taste of Tuscany
Tables laden with cheeses, meats, breads and other goodies signify the fullness of the dolce vita life. Here Tuscan Kitchen and Tuscan Market Catering in Salem provides artisan ciabatta and focaccia breads, roasted butternut mista and tomato bruschetta crostini, and salumi e formaggi — prosciutto di Parma, coppa and moliterno al tartufo. Delizioso!
Guests are then led to their seats via a gelato cone with an escort card.
Soft, romantic textures with a bright pop of coral and orange against the earthen tones of the Mediterranean palette — that was the concept selected for the table. For the on-trend floral table runner, Ivy & Aster Floral Design used a wide band of hydrangeas, garden roses, roses, pepper berries and clementine fruit. The garlands of ribbon, pepper berry, roses and spray roses for the back of the sweetheart chairs accentuate the charm and romance of the vineyard setting. White washes, scrolled wrought-iron flatware, light-as-a-feather glassware, taper candles and a chalkboard menu craft an effortless balance for the table.
For the guests, wood-grillled filet of salmon paired with roasted butternut squash, asparagus, pea shoots and a lemon rosemary gremolata and a filet of beef paired with a Brussels sprout, pancetta, roasted fingerling potatoes, roasted tomatoes and a red wine demi-glace. The chalkboard menu spells it out. From Tuscan Kitchen and Tuscan Market Catering.
The dessert spread by Tuscan Kitchen and Tuscan Market Catering gives a sense of regal, yet country-style Italian charm. Straight-out-of-grandma’s-Italian-kitchen sweets — a caramel-mocha hazelnut cake, Tuscan tiramisu cake, assorted individual fruit tarts and Italian cookies — will entice your guests to keep coming back.
Bride and Groom's Exit
When the day is done, the couple escapes on a Vespa scooter adorned with a garland of ribbon, pepper berry, roses and spray rose and a sign that says “Newlyweds” in Italian. The bride's final dress is designed by Justin Alexander, a tea-length gown that features hand-rolled floral accents that add dimension and drama. Most often sold as a reception dress, it offers mobility and comfort for dancing the night away. Offered exclusively at Uniquely Couture Bridal.
